Do I need to know Japanese already?
No. You can start by listening and reading along. Joining in with a single word, or simply listening, counts as taking part.
Is this a course or JLPT prep?
No. There are no lessons in a fixed order, no tests and no scores. It's a place to spend time in everyday Japanese.
Will I learn about Japanese culture too?
Yes, along the way. The conversation spaces cover food, travel and experiences, pop culture, anime scenes and everyday manners — so you hear how people really live in Japan, not just the words.
What language is the app in?
The conversations and most screens are in Japanese, with short hints in your language on some screens. Stripe shows the checkout in your browser's language where supported.
Is there a free trial?
No. It's ¥4,500 per month (JPY, tax included), and you can cancel anytime.
How do I cancel?
In the app, open the わたし (Me) tab and choose the option to cancel or change your card. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
